Bitcoin is in a mid-cycle liquidity-drain consolidation, not a confirmed cyclical top

- Outcome
- Bitcoin never came near a confirmed top. Its lowest weekly close after the call was about $62,900, far above the $50,000 bear floor, and it was about $80,800 at the Oct 28 FOMC decision. The call also said bitcoin would stay range-bound between about $58,000 and $74,000 through October. That part failed: bitcoin broke above $74,000 on Aug 21 and closed every week since above it, with spot ETF inflows positive in August and September. The liquidity-drain framing failed too, because bitcoin rallied while real yields rose and the Fed hiked.

Provenance
Every call on the Record is hashed with SHA-256 over its canonical JSON, and the hashes are sealed into a Merkle root anchored on the Base blockchain. A grade or correction written after an anchor appears in the regrade log with its date and is sealed at the next anchor. The anchor page explains how to verify a call against the chain, and the full Record lists every call with the strict and directional tallies.
